| Mig's Rig Taxi service, owned and operated by year-round island residents, operates under the guidelines set forth by the Town of New Shoreham's Commission for Motor Vehicles for Hire. Rates are established using a 'zone' system, rather than a time/mileage meter (which most people are familiar with when taking a taxi on the mainland.) |

Rates are required by law to be posted in every cab, and all cabs must, by Town ordinance, adhere to the posted rates. Drivers will gladly discuss rates before being hired. Island Tours are a wonderful way to learn about and see the island in just over an hour. Call to find out current rates, and set up a time convenient for you! Tour rates as of 2008 were set at $55.00 for one or two people, and $10 for each additional passenger. We hope that you will find our services helpful as you explore this wonderful place we call home.
